UN Women
The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women(UN Women) is the UN agency dedicated to advancing gender equality and the rights of women and girls globally. As the lead United Nations entity on gender equality and secretariat to the UN Commission on the Status of Women(UNCSW), they transforms laws, institutions, social norms, and services to close the gender gap and build an equal world for all women and girls.
Gender equality is not only a basic human right, but its achievement has enormous socio-economic ramifications. Empowering women fuels thriving economies, spurring productivity and growth. Yet gender inequalities remain deeply entrenched in every society. During crises, UN Women's role becomes both fundamental and urgent because it makes stride in four areas: leadership, economic empowerment, freedom from violence, and peace, security and humanitarian action.
UEM Conclave of Nations 2026 proudly presents the UN Women. Rooted in the belief that the empowerment of women is essential to both social progress and global development, the committee seeks to foster inclusive discussions and explore pathways towards a more equitable world.
